Some of you are good cooks I believe, and as I told you before: practice makes perfect! Get your geek on! Let your geek flags fly on May 25! Geek Pride Day celebrates all things geeky. It is for those people who appreciate sci-fi, fantasy, board games, video games, comic books, cosplay, anime, steampunk, and zombies, and much more.

Geeks are a diverse bunch with one shared quality, passion. Especially for technology and for those things that are outside of mainstream interests, and that can make them seem eccentric.

So let the freak that lives in you enjoy and celebrate your pride.

Buenos días a todos:

Esto ya se está acabando. A este curso ya le quedan los días contados y estamos en plena cuenta atrás. Esto quiere decir varias cosas:

1. Que las notas se pondrán pronto.

Esto quiere decir que necesito recibir trabajos vuestros para poder tener material que evaluar. Así que para los que tienen cosas pendientes… por favor, poneros las pilas. Vamos a hacer todos el último esfuerzo final antes de cerrar este curso tan “especial”.

2. Que os vais a graduar de vuestra Educación Primaria.

Se cierra una etapa de vuestra vida muy importante: la infancia. Y el próximo curso todos empezaréis una vida nueva.

3. Que pronto llegarán las vacaciones.

Todo llega, y pronto os podréis relajar, os lo prometo. Pero ahora, solo os pido un último esfuerzo donde lo deis todos y podamos cerrar este curso con broche de oro.

TODO ESTO HAY QUE CELBRARLO.

Por eso hoy os vengo a proponer una actividad muy especial para Arts.

Las circunstancias no nos van a permitir celebrar vuestra graduación como os merecéis. Pero algo hay que hacer. Algo bonito, algo memorable y en vuestro caso algo distinto que distinga vuestra graduación de otras.

Vamos a hacer un vídeo, y para eso necesito la colaboración de todos.

Quiero que os grabéis dos vídeos:

• Uno en el que salgáis en pijama lo más caseros posible.

• Otro en el que salgáis con vuestra pinta de graduación lo más elegantes posibles y con un cartel que diga:

Cuando tengáis los dos vídeos deberéis editarlos de tal manera que empalméis uno con otro y ese es el que me debéis enviar para poder editar todos y hacer uno conjunto con todos los que enviéis. Sé que sabéis hacer este tipo de vídeos perfectamente mejor que yo que aprendí ayer.

Para esto hay muchos programas de edición que podéis utilizar. Yo recomiendo Tik Tik porque sé que es fácil y muchos lo sabéis usar, pero sirve cualquier otro también.

Espero que os guste la idea, que os divirtáis haciéndolo y que hagamos entre todos algo único de lo que os acordéis siempre.

Today is World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. Fortunately, in our class we have people and families form all around the world and this means we are a very diverse class, rich in cultures! 

CHALLENGE 22: Today you will show your pride and share your ancestor’s culture wherever they are from. Find out typical traditions from your origin region and take a photo to celebrate your pride and respect for your culture. 

Today’s homework is:
