Good morning my beautiful students,

It’s very difficult for me to say good-bye. This has been an unforgettable year with all of you and I wish the best for you in the years to come.

Congratulations for all your work this year, you have finally graduated from 6th grade and next year you will start a new life in high school. You are all ready, you will do great and I wish for you kindness, hard work and compromise with your responsibilities, since they will demonstrate you who you really are.

Good morning kids!

This is coming to an end. We’re almost saying goodbye and it’s not easy.

This week Pau Donés, lead singer from Jarabe de Palo, a legendary Spanish musician died after battling with cancer for years.

Being your English teacher I have always shared with you music in English because music isn’t just language, but also culture. However, this time I will share with you the latest single Pau Donés wrote for two reasons:

• First of all, because Jarabe de Palo has been a symbol of our recent Spanish culture and listening to his songs we can give thanks for all the happy moments he gave us. POSITIVE ATTITUDE. AMAZING ARTIST.

• Secondly, because he is a great example of a hard working person and I hope he can inspire you. Two weeks before his death he released his last album. IMPRESSIVE. EXTRAORDINARY PERSON TIL THE END.

Whenever you feel lonely, sad, or if you just need inspiration… always look for the greatest stars of all times. Who are your stars?

Listen to his last single and if you like it, listen to all his songs. You won’t be disappointed.

How are you today? It was great to see some of you yesterday and I’m eager to see all of you during this week.

Yesterday I left you a timeless song full of great advice for you and I hope you liked it. Today I will give you a poem for these historic and revolutionary times!

This past week, Tuere was very busy making paintings of the victims of police brutality in the United States! She will leave an image here and in the coming days will post her presentation.

Let’s all remember that racism is something that exists here as well! We must actively stand up again racists and spread awareness in order to move forward as a society.

Today is Friday!!! At last!!!

Hoy lo único que os voy a pedir es que hagáis vuestro propio birrete de graduación y que me mandéis una foto con el vuestro puesto para que podamos hacer la foto de graduación.

Hay muchos tutoriales de cómo hacerlo y podéis ser creativos a la hora de hacerlo. Como ejemplo muestro este, pero como digo, podéis hacer otro modelo si os gusta más.

Today is 1st of June and we start the final countdown. Soon the evaluation will be over, you will be finishing your life in school and you will enjoy your summer holidays. So send your homework fast before it’s too late and then you will have time to celebrate your achievements.

CHALLENGE 28: Do origami.

There are hundreds of tutorials where you can learn how to do amazing things in origami. I found one that you might like: butterflies. Anyway, you can look for more and choose your favourite. Which one can you do?

Today for homework you will:

• ENGLISH: Start a new unit, Unit 9: School: past and future.  

You will make the new cover for the topic, you will do ex.1,2,4 and copy vocabulary ex.2. Finally, you will do AB. P.90.

Good morning kids,

Today is Friday!!!

I don’t have much to say today. There’s nothing to check from yesterday’s homework and I don’t have additional homework for you today since you are still working on the graduation videos, which I hope you send soon. Remember you have until the 5th of June, so there’s not too much time.

Please remember for the video:

• The video must be in VERTICLE.

• No talking on the video (there will be background music when we edit it so we won’t be able to listen to you.)

• Please send it as soon as possible!

As a side note, all of the students who usually get a call from me, Tuere, this week you may have noticed I was absent! Not to worry I was a bit sick this week. This means next week prepare for me to spend a bit more time with you asking both this weeks questions and next weeks.
